Where do you do all your recording?

I work from my home in Cornwall, England. I have a small but very high quality studio based around an Apple Mac G5. The sequencer I use is Logic Pro which I augment with various software plug-ins, such as Spectrasonics Trilogy, Atmosphere and Stylus RMX along with Native Instruments Ra and Beats Working. To assist with the job of controlling Logic I use an Emagic Logic controller and as an audio interface I have a Motu 896HD, you can learn more about my equipment in the galleries section.

The guitars I have used for recording are my Papillon Flamenco cutaway custom built to me very own specifications, a Vincente Sanchis 31F Flamenco and a Cuenca model 7F flamenco guitar.

For bass I use my Status 5-string or my Yamaha Motif ES which I also use for synthesiser effects.

The album 'Esperanto' was recorded using a Yamaha AW4416 and prior to that 'Monument' was recorded using a Roland VS 840 studio. A Fostex QMT8 was used to record the now deleted 'Equilibrium' album, proving you do not need a huge budget or a massive high-tech studio to get relatively pleasing results.

I leave the final job of mastering to the big boys. With my last recording I engaged the services of SRT in Cambridge and I can wholeheartedly recommend them.
