Terra Nova (2007) Total running time 59:08
Terra Nova is Al's most accomplished work to date and is a rich tapestry of atmospheres and soundscapes intended to capture the imagination. A melodically infectious, sonically dramatic and deeply textured sound palette compliments the diverse compositional arrangements. With a vituoso performance on the Spanish guitar—along with a whole host of other instruments and ambiences ranging from the western sounds of the piano and synthesizer to the more exotic eastern sounds of the duduk, zourna and santoor—Terra Nova is a voyage of discovery into uncharted territory and beyond. |
Esperanto (2001) Total running time 41:42
What you have in Esperanto is a collection of instrumental songs where the voice of the Spanish guitar delivers delicate Hispanic harmonies underscored with rhythmic Latin percussion. |
Monument (2000) Total running time 57:09
Exotic, serene, fiery, passionate—just some of the words that describe Monument, a showcase for Al's emotive guitar playing. |
